On a beautiful crisp Sunday 13 December 2009 a successful Ras Sant Run Pembrokeshire was held at Llandysilio
The overall winner was Huw Roberts who was brought up in Llandissilio but who now lives in Cardiff and is an accountant.
Huw’s father was Head Master of Brynconin School Llandissilio before becoming a Baptist minister.
The first lady across the line was Mary Bowen Rees of Trots Running Club and 14 year old Carrie Hermitage from Henllan Amgoed took the Junior Award. Congratulations are due to Mari Phillips of Llandissilio Post Office who, at 13 years of age obtained the highest amount of sponsorship at £143.40.
Should you need further times etc. the results are posted on www.onlineraceresults.co.uk but the title of the race is incorrect – Ras Sion Corn in case you are looking for it.
The next Ras Santa Run Pembrokeshire is scheduled to take place on Sunday 12 December 2010.
